TREES FOR YORKSHIRE CAMPAIGN - "A PRACTICAL STEP IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION"
HELP YORKSHIRE GROW THE WHITE ROSE FOREST
For every £10 donation we will plant at least two trees in Yorkshire at an approved White Rose Forest site.
Each tree will be a part of a new community woodland , supported by its local authority and to a standard approved by the Forestry Commission.
The ideal gift
"Trees for Yorkshire" make an ideal gift for any special occasion. Once the tree has been planted we will send you
· a personalised Certificate of Dedication with a map showing where the site is
· a photograph of the planted area
· an invite to a ‘walk and talk’ event *
* Trees are planted from November to March, therefore the talk and walk event will be the following summer
Our planting projects
Trees for Yorkshire will be made up of a number of different planting projects throughout the White Rose Forest. Go to Explore the White Rose Forest choose your local district and click on any 'Gold £' icon. This will give you details of each project so you can choose where your donation goes.
Kirklees Service Pay
The accountable body for the White Rose Forest partnership is Kirklees Council; therefore your donation will be dealt with by the Kirklees Service Pay facility. Each donation is secure and fully audited. So wherever the project you decide to fund is , Kirklees Council ,on behalf of the 'Trees for Yorkshire' will process your donation.
How to Donate
Once you’ve chosen your planting project by going to Explore the White Rose Forest, then simply
- Click the Donate button above
- You will be taken through to the Kirklees Service Pay facility
- Choose White Rose Forest at the Payment type list top left
- Select the project you want to support ( or Trees for Yorkshire for general donations )
- Follow the online instructions.
Kirklees Council on behalf of the 'Trees for Yorkshire', will process your donation through their Kirklees Service Pay facility wherever the project is.
We suggest you say YES to Gift Aid as it will allow our Charity partners to claim back Tax from the Government adding to the value of your donation.
Please allow 6 weeks from order to delivery of the Certificate.
