TREES FOR YORKSHIRE CAMPAIGN
HELP YORKSHIRE COMBAT CLIMATE CHANGE!
For every £10 donation we will plant a tree in Yorkshire at an approved White Rose Forest site.
Each tree will be a part of a new woodland plantation supported by its local authority and to a standard approved by the Forestry Commission.
The ideal gift
Trees for Yorkshire make an ideal gift for any special occasion. Once the tree has been planted we will send you
· a personalised Certificate of Donation with a map showing where the site is
· a photograph of planted area
· an invite you to a ‘talk and walk’ event *
* Trees are planted from November to March, therefore the talk and walk event will be the following summer
Our planting projects
Trees for Yorkshire will be made up of a number of different planting projects throughout the White Rose Forest. Go to Explore the White Rose Forest choose your local district and click on any 'Gold £' icon. This will give you details of each project so you can choose where your donation goes.
As of 1st August 2010 the project for Trees for Yorkshire is Scammonden Water in Kirklees.
Kirklees Service Pay
The accountable body for the White Rose Forest is Kirklees Council; therefore your donation will be dealt with by the Kirklees Service Pay facility. Each donation is safe, fully audited and traceable. So whichever project you decide to fund, Kirklees Council on behalf of the 'Trees for Yorkshire' will process your donation.
How to Donate
Once you’ve chosen your planning project by going to Explore the White Rose Forest, then simply
· Click the Donate button below
· You will be taken through to the Kirklees Service Pay facility
· Select a project ,Trees for Yorkshire for general donations or a specific project site
· Follow the online instructions.
Kirklees Council on behalf of the 'Trees for Yorkshire' will process your donation through their Kirklees Service Pay facility. Each donation is safe, fully audited and traceable.
We suggest you say YES to Gift Aid as it will allow our Charity partners to claim back Tax from the Government adding to the value of your donation.
